The contract
Terms of use
Version of June 10, 2026. English edition of October 16, 2026, which updates the list of tools and states the age requirement
01Purpose and acceptance
These terms of use (the Terms) set out how the site publisher (the Publisher) makes the opentahr.com site and the OpenTahr service (the Service) available, and how the user (the User) accesses and uses them.
Creating an account and using the Service means you fully accept these Terms. If you do not accept the Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms are an English translation of the French original. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails, unless the law of your country of residence gives you more protection. The French version is available on request at contact@opentahr.com.
02Definitions
- BYOK (Bring Your Own Key). The way the Service works, where the User connects their own API keys obtained from third-party providers.
- API key. A secret identifier issued to the User by a third-party provider (of AI models, images, search data and so on) that gives access to that provider's services.
- Provider. A third party from which the User obtained an API key (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Mistral, Groq or OpenRouter).
- Tools. The twelve features offered by the Service, as described on opentahr.com. Multi-model Expert Chat, site audit (including Google Discover compatibility and readiness for Google AdSense approval), WordPress auto-blog, article writing, image generation, lead website generator, lead magnet generator, keyword research, internal linking, detection of pages not indexed by Google (with optional submission to SpeedyIndex), link building through LemmiLink and pop-under traffic campaigns through PopCash (Boost Pop).
- Deliverables. Content produced by the Tools at the User's request (reports, documents, files, code).
03Access to the service and beta version
The Service is currently offered free of charge, as a beta version. The User acknowledges and accepts the following.
- The Service is provided as is and as available, with no service level agreement (SLA).
- Malfunctions, interruptions, loss of features or substantial changes may happen at any time.
- The Publisher may change, suspend or stop all or part of the Service, including permanently, without being liable for doing so. A permanent shutdown will be announced to Users with reasonable notice.
Access to the Service requires equipment and an internet connection, whose costs are borne by the User, as well as a recent browser.
Optional paid plans may be offered later and will be covered by dedicated terms of sale. For information, some of them may take the form of a lifetime license (one-time payment), subject in particular to the following conditions.
- Lifetime means for as long as the Publisher operates the Service, not a guarantee that it will last forever. If the Service shuts down permanently, the reasonable notice set out in article 03 above applies.
- The license is personal and named. One (1) license covers one (1) individual or one (1) entity. It cannot be resold, transferred, sublicensed or pooled to provide the Service to third parties.
- Uses described as unlimited are subject to fair and reasonable use. The Publisher may apply technical anti-abuse caps, especially on processing that runs through its servers (for example the audit tool), to keep the Service stable for all Users.
- Fraud, unauthorized sharing or any attempt to get around these limits may lead to suspension or termination of the license under article 11.
04User account
Using the Tools requires a free account. The Service is meant for professionals and adults. The User confirms at sign-up that they are 18 or older. The User agrees to provide a valid email address and to keep their login details confidential. Any action taken from their account is deemed to be taken by them.
The User must tell the Publisher without delay about any unauthorized use of their account at contact@opentahr.com.
The account is personal. It cannot be transferred, shared or used to provide the Service to third parties for a fee without the Publisher's written consent.
05API keys (BYOK), roles and responsibilities
The Service works with the User's API keys. As a result, the following applies.
- The User remains the sole holder of their API keys and the only party to the contract with each Provider. The Publisher is neither a party to that contract nor an intermediary or reseller of those services.
- API usage costs are billed to the User by their Providers at those Providers' rates. The Publisher has no visibility or control over that billing and cannot be held liable for the amounts spent. Setting spending caps with each Provider is strongly recommended.
- The User agrees to follow their Providers' terms of use (including their acceptable use policies) when using their keys through the Service.
- Keys are stored locally in the User's browser and are not sent to the Publisher's servers. The security of the User's device and browser is the User's responsibility (session lock, shared computer, malware).
- If a key may have been compromised, the User must revoke it right away with their Provider.
The same rules apply to the other third-party services the User connects to the Tools, such as DataForSEO, Google Search Console, SpeedyIndex, LemmiLink, PopCash, image libraries or the User's own WordPress site. The User contracts with each of them directly, pays them directly and remains responsible for what is ordered or published through them, including the content and targeting of advertising campaigns and of link building orders. The Publisher does not resell these services and has no control over their prices, review processes or results.
06AI-generated content
The Tools rely on artificial intelligence models run by the Providers the User chooses. The User acknowledges the following.
- Generated content is produced automatically and may contain errors, approximations, outdated or inaccurate information, or even inappropriate content, despite the instructions and methods built into the Service.
- Deliverables are provided for information only. They are not professional advice (legal, accounting, financial, medical or other) and do not guarantee compliance or performance.
- No result is guaranteed, especially in search. Better rankings in search engines, the indexing of a page, traffic from a campaign and eligibility for a third-party service (for example Google Discover or AdSense) are never promised, since those decisions belong only to the operators concerned.
- The User must check, correct and approve every Deliverable before using it, publishing it or sharing it with anyone.
- The User uses Deliverables at their own risk.
07Local storage of your work
Conversations, settings and Deliverables are saved locally in the User's browser and/or downloaded to their device. The Publisher keeps no copy.
The User is informed that this local data can be lost if browsing data is cleared, if they change device or browser, if they use private browsing or if the device fails. It is up to the User to export and back up their important work. The Publisher cannot be held liable for the loss of locally stored data.
08User obligations
The User agrees to use the Service fairly, in line with applicable law and these Terms. In particular, the User must not do any of the following.
- Use the Tools to produce or spread content that is illegal, misleading, defamatory, infringing or that violates the rights of others.
- Analyze, audit or query third-party sites, content or data in breach of their owners' rights or of the terms of use of the services involved.
- Try to get around the technical measures of the Service (quotas, limits, security), disrupt how it works or access it by unauthorized automated means.
- Resell, rent or commercially exploit the Service without the Publisher's written consent.
- Impersonate someone else or create multiple accounts to get around the limits of the Service.
The User warrants that they hold the necessary rights and permissions over the content, addresses and data they submit to the Tools, and will hold the Publisher harmless from any third-party claim on that basis.
09Intellectual property
The Service
The Service, its structure, interface, visual identity, brand, methods and software remain the exclusive property of the Publisher. These Terms only give the User a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service for as long as they use it.
Deliverables
The Publisher claims no ownership of the Deliverables the User generates with their own keys. To the extent intellectual property rights exist in those Deliverables, they are deemed to belong to the User. This is subject to (i) any third-party rights in the material the User submits, (ii) the Providers' terms on the outputs of their models, and (iii) the state of the law on AI-generated content, which the Publisher does not guarantee.
Deliverables produced under the free plan may carry an attribution line (Powered by OpenTahr), which the User agrees not to remove unless a paid option allows it.
10Liability
The Publisher undertakes to provide the Service with care and in line with good practice, as an obligation of means. To the extent allowed by law, and except in case of gross negligence or willful misconduct on its part, the Publisher cannot be held liable for the following.
- Indirect damage (loss of revenue, customers or opportunity, harm to reputation).
- Costs billed by Providers for the use of the User's API keys.
- The content or accuracy of Deliverables, or the consequences of using them.
- The loss of data stored locally on the User's device.
- The unavailability, errors or decisions of third-party services (Providers, search engines, the User's hosting companies).
- Force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Publisher's liability in case of fraud, gross negligence or personal injury, or in any other case where the law forbids such a limitation. Consumers' statutory rights, including the legal guarantees that apply, remain fully protected in all cases.
11Suspension and termination
By the User. The account can be deleted at any time, with no reason and no notice, from the workspace settings or by writing to contact@opentahr.com. Local data stays on the User's device, and the User can erase it themselves.
By the Publisher. In case of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms (in particular fraud, abuse, or harm to the security of the Service or to the rights of others), the Publisher may suspend or delete the account involved. Except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise, the User is first informed by email and given the chance to respond.
12Changes to the service and the terms
The Publisher may change the Service (features, free plan quotas, interface) and these Terms. If the Terms change substantially, account holders are informed by email or by a notice in the Service at least 15 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means accepting the new Terms. Otherwise, the User can delete their account.
13Miscellaneous
- Evidence. The Service's technical records and logs are binding between the parties unless proven otherwise.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found void or unenforceable, the other provisions remain fully in effect.
- No waiver. If the Publisher does not act on a breach, it does not waive the right to act on it later.
- Assignment. The Publisher may transfer the Service and these Terms to any successor as part of a reorganization or sale of the business, without reducing Users' rights.
14Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. If you live in another country, this choice does not deprive you of the protection given by the mandatory consumer rules of that country.
In case of a dispute, the parties will first look for an amicable solution. Write to contact@opentahr.com.
Under articles L.612-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, consumers can use a consumer mediator free of charge. Since the Service is currently free, an approved mediator will be appointed when the paid plans launch and will be named on this page.
If no amicable solution is found, the dispute will go before the competent French courts. Consumers may choose either one of the courts with territorial jurisdiction under the French Code of Civil Procedure, or the court of the place where they lived when the contract was made or when the harmful event occurred.
